I'm pretty sure the devs want to maintain the Physics focus of the game, so it's not likely they will implement something that removes so much of that.
That said I would be in favor of a Crushed Ore Pipeline type thing, where a single type of crushed ore can be moved at whatever speed is safest in a significantly smaller tube that meant you could move those around easier, faster, and with less breakage (potentially with a single block space containing the ability to hold multiple tubes so that you can save space.

But, again, that seems unlikely

... but that is the Physics. Just because you can fo it with 1, or 10, or 100 per minute doesn't mean it can handle 10,000

Well, the other issue they could adjust is the chutes. If you use an entry chute, the ones that go in from the side and drop down, they don’t work after so many ores. It’s not that they don’t fall bc if physics though, it’s the top entry points having a weird edge on them that the game DOES count as a physical object, but while it makes sense why it happens, it makes no sense to have to have us use straight ledge conveyors when we should be able to use ramp conveyors to have the ores go into the entrance

That is true, yeah. That's why we're all testing though

Won't add. Try using walled conveyors to prevent overflows from surges or the Vertical Bulk Sorter if you want a faster sorter
