You can barely see the difference between the ghost of a heavy miner and a normal miner, making it really annoying seeing which one is which.
especially because this big yellow thing is in your face.
The image attached shows the heavy miner close to a normal mining spot and it's barely visible, so you can't tell which miner spot it is unless it snaps (or not..)

What I do is hold a lamp post out, and run around. Gives me more visibility and light.

it would be better if they separate the heavy miner ghost from the normal miner ghost, making it so it only shows the one you're holding

Yeah, but that's not how it works. If you're holding any placeable object like a conveyor or lamp post, then the miner's ghost will show up.

it's probably something along the lines of 'when holding X, show [tag=miner]'
That's why I don't hold the miner's in my hand when finding them.
sometimes you have multiple nodes where you can place a miner, but you can't see shit π

And at the MOMENT it's the same version. But as soon as a new update comes out you will no longer be on the live public version.
yeah, I've seen a lot of people be confused by this
really hard to tell especially when you're close to it
I made it so the wrong type autominer spots are a fainter red color for now
I think it could be worth it more future too so the yellow autominer doesn't cover your whole screen

Make it so the ghost appear only on the miner spot? Instead of floating infront of one?
i personally like how both are shown since it allows me to plan out how to use all the nearby veins. I just hate how the one you're holding covers 95% of your screen.
