The sorter never distinguished between polished and unpolished before.

And I didnt see anything in #experimental-patch-notes that suggest they changed that

Yeah, the sorters don't differentiate between polished vs unpolished. Currently there isn't really a reason to sort them (you can just repolish them all)

but we might add some kind of "polished detector" in the future if needed
