do you have a really really big factory?
this update added sound priorities, so now some sounds with lower priority (like the ore sounds) might stop after too many sounds are playing at once
previously the sound would just completely glitch out
but this isn't perfect, so I'll need to make a better system in the future so you can actually hear the ores...
I've lost everything but the conveyor sounds, no machines or anything
On that note I saw it similar but once I turned the miners off the missing sounds for the blast furnaces, rolling mill, and pipe rollers came back
Not that it is probably super useful but these are the "in use" counts for machines before I can notice sounds not playing. I have more that are idle during this and I'm sure things on belts also play into it. I wouldn't say I felt the old system managed to have noticeable audio missing and that is with a cave that has all deposits set up with the Mk1 miner
Yes maxed out all miners at mk2 and lots of machines.

Had this issue myself at first. Oddly enough, all sounds came back after switching all autominers off.
...and all sounds gone againe with any of the miners on.
The bug seems to have changed form, now it can start up with all the audio but moving around makes everything lose audio... I didn't show it but even turning the mining machines off again doesn't seem to bring the audio back like in the last patch
Bug is here also in my save walking arround like @white cliff i lose all audio!

turns out unity engine doesn't differentiate between paused and playing sounds for some calculations
