#Boxes don't count as Phys Objects (Don't delete)

Ah fair enough
i think the packager is a use case where you might want them to be clearable. I've had boxes get stuck in it and clog the machine
I mean you just delete the machine and remove the box and then place it back down
Sure but we have a delete button for physics objects
It says "ores" but includes finished products
But not boxes
So it still appears to be a bug
I'd be fine with a separate button to delete them
The main issue is, there's no way to get rid of them other than the outbound box and, the button that deletes physics objects omits only boxes.
So, the original purpose of this was just to report the bug that they're not being deleted
It’s not a bug tho? They’re still in progress on their contract system and maybe a way to unpack the boxes, I would more so call this a suggestion rather than a “bug” as it’s intended for them to not be deleted afaik
It's intended for nothing to be deleted but it's, by definition, a bug because the "delete all phys objects" button
Doesn't delete all phys objects.
Whether it's going to go away or not
And whether you want it to be a feature or not
Does not change the fact that the button does not do what it says it does
Thus
Bug report
I don't care either way. Whether the end product has the button or not. I just found a bug and reported it
And yet
It clears pipes, rods, and plates
Thus
The button does not do what the button says it does
It's a weird hill to die on
I just noticed that there was an odd thing out and reported it
Idk why there's so much push back on it
So, by that definition, it should also remove boxes
Like ingots and plates, boxes are just materials ran through a machine
Also, broken drill bits are the thing on that list that don't come from auto miners .-.
That's kinda funny
Wait, I guess technically they do
Huh.
Also, I didn't realize (tho it makes sense)
That it'd delete the bits hidden around the map
We got the Packager when we were testing the Contracts System. The Contracts were placed on hold for the EA release but we got to keep the Packager as a WIP item.
