When a bit breaks and gets spit out on the conveyor, if it tries to pass through a conveyor sorter it will not pass through and just sits there rolling around.

i think it might have happened when i ejected the bit before it broke and i didnt know it went on the belt. I watched a broken bit travel all the way through my setup so its not broken bits its new bits.

Oh, yeah. The non-broken bits are "Tools", which don't go through sorters, and aren't affected by machines
and the broken bits are "Ore Pieces", which go through sorters and are affected by machines like the crusher and furnace
It's a bit confusing, but the non-broken bits should never come out onto the conveyor belts on their own unless you manually eject them, so I think it's fine

the packages are a completely different (unfinished) system. they'll be updated more in the future :)

also I don't think they can physically fit inside the sorters.... they'll need their own sorting machines later
