The drills have a small but possible chance of over heating because it hit a ore what cant be mined or takes longer this could also add for future possibilities of a mk2 miner what can get better ores

You can cool down the mk1 by making a drill up sequence or a lever what stops it so you can restart it to hopefully be on full charge or something what cools it down e.g water or a massive fan

this is a neat idea

#

Maybe it could get jammed or something ocasionally

#

you could either manually un-jam it, or it'd un-jam itself after some time

Yeh gets jammed on harder ores or rocks

but when it gets un-jammed, a bunch of ore comes out at once

#

so you need to keep that in mind while building your factory, otherwise you might get overflows sometimes!

Yeh this is going perfectly

To add to this, can we also get an item or a machine that checks on the status of our drills and gives us a red blinking light or other indication a drill went down?

#

If you’re familiar with COD Zombies for BO3, in some maps there’s a display on the wall with blinking lights that tells you where the mystery box it and in what room. Perhaps something like that or a map you carry?

Well ofc man we need something to check the status

#

Maybe on a mk3 (if it comes) there is a computer on the side what gives the status

We would need something before otherwise people will get frustrated

#

Can be a red light green light or something more detailed

Yeh a red or green light what symbolises it but the computer tells you the actual temp
