Same here! It crashed for us after 1 game for the three of us with the same message
Can you both better explain situation when the crash happen or send logs ? Crash dmp files ? ๐
Where can I find the crash logs and dmp files?
As for the crash out we were playing fine after the update did 1 night and after that it just randomly lagged for 2 second and immedietly crashed with an error that disappeard too soon for me to be able to screenshot. Restarted my pc, verified the integrity of the files on steam and also tried entering -dx11 but still crashed after that several times. For my friends who are on another place it only cracshed once with the same error

The game trying to access writing files to the value "null" which causing problem. It have several possible issues which may cause it
Most usual issues are corrupter RAM memory, driver issues, faulty hardware etc.
You can try to run RAM memory test if everything is alright and if all will be passed you can try to check / update / rollback your GPU drivers to stable one (if you are using experiment build versions)
aswell , if you are using any 3rd party software, for screen capture, you can try to turn them off during testing, they may lead to this issue aswell
and exact line of null access violation is there

so I checked my RAM and it had no issues. My GPU drivers are up to date and I reinstalled them just to be sure. i don't screen capture while I play so I don't think that's an issue. if these three aren't the fix, what else do you recommend?

up to date, doesnt mean, they are stable, check for your GPU last stable drivers ^^

my 2 friends and I played for about 3hrs for the first time about a week ago with no issues, tonight in the span of about 3hrs (since the update/patch) the friend hosting had the game crash on us 3 different times none of it really consistent

Yes, still happens in the new patch at seemingly random intervals. Usually when I have been playing for a while. It happened once when I looked into the vision orb near extraction point. I also noticed the game crashes if you unplug your mic.
I sent the player log, couldnt find any other crash files in the folder you mentioned though

its same issue as with other people

seems like the memory have problem to store and write/read things which are happening in game, that means, nothing what already happend, is not processed in metadata and Ram allocation, but it end in overhaul of memory and crash
You can try to downgrade the GPU drivers to the build Nvidia 580.88 (WHQL) and try it if still this memory leaks are persisting or not
If it will still persist we will roll back to the up to date ones, and we can check RAM memory

People, please, dont send files in ZIP, try to understand that, its for me possible security risk downloading any ZIP or RAR files.

yes its similiar as others but this is on AMD GPU, please, check AMD software, if you dont have turned on any enchancing as "Radeon anti-lag" "horizontal sync" or any other enhancement of GPU rendering

first of all, if you sharing or want share logs where you have concern about personal informations, its better to send it in DMS, my DMS are open so you should to send it.
Second thing is, only thing what people can see and what may be concerned as "personal information" is path toward the files and crash dmp files, where only shows your "user" name. Nothing more, nothing less.
Another thing is, if you put it to zip, how exactly its supposed to "protect you" ?
You know ZIP isnt encryption right ? Not hashing files. And not remote control over your device aswell.
So in overall idk why you put it to ZIP at all.

Since the last hotfix, I am crashing more, not less now. Object spawning is also worse. I had a giant pillar blocking the teleporter, frogs stuck in the wall etc.
EDIT: Ah nice, I see there's a new driver released for my AMD GPU dating 26th of February. Gonna try that. I will report back

Still had a crash. Completely random; nothing specifically is happening in game.
Two people in game, one AFK. I was just running to bring him a potion as I exited the brewing portal, it crashed.
Tomorrow ill be free so if you want we Can look at it
I am going to sit this out a little longer. I do not really want to fiddle with my system too much until I am certain it is on my end. I am using "drivers only", so enhancements like 'anti-lag' and such should not be active.

Its not like its on your end, its partially on end user and partially on unity engine. But sure, do what you need to do ๐คท
This may be realated to some of people moding the usally say somthing in chat before crashing the serer like "OMG Guys there's a hacker" then proceed to crash the server for attention and spread rumors via chat while they are on the other side of the map spawning a bunch of monsters or items I have seen this happen roughly 10 times its a simple fix just add a item and monster limt.
so maybe keep a closer eye on the random people who join you're server to make sure there not spam spawning monsters.
I have not crashed in a while. It would be crazy if all the crashes were caused by this and we're all blaming everything and everyone.
and another tip 99 percent of them are script kiddies EG:people who steal or skid random scripts of the web
I am playing in more closed/private games now.
Its fine cause I confronted most of them they stoped
the only people left are probally just casual moders
