#Lowering the quota

press g to look at things you can do to gain more points
also it’s easier to get 2500 with more people
Yeah i can see it be easier with more people; but I typically play as duo
maybe the game could adjust the quota depending on the amount of players in the loby?
getting 2500pts in duo is far from impossible. Focus on the puzzle games to get access to better loot
you can litteraly just walk around and use the wind wand and destroy stuff untill you find more wands, like i got 3000 on a solo run? (i lost like atleast 100 points each time cause i couldn't find the extraction room)
I got the quata first day in duo with bugs and typically I am close to 1600+ with no bugs
I like this yes
See the thing is, when you play with non computer competent people just for fun, its very difficult to complete the puzzle lmao
i must also admit that we only cracked the "big door with symbols" one ^^'
I don't really find it too hard to make it to 3500 in 3 days
To speedrun getting to extraction find ANY hallway and/or window and/or door that is outside..... then use 2 wind wands and use updog to get high ground until you see the tower with the wierd blue stuff
We did 3k+ as a quite weak gamers duo, so it's completely doable.
bro i won in night 2 just try harder
Ok. I guess maybe we need to play to get the rhythm of it?
Yeah, the more you play the more you learn and the better you get at it. Depends on what you prioritize/if you do the list that pops up wit G and if you dont get hella unlucky. Like all or most games, you get good the more you play and try stuff out, especially with game mechanics you arent used to
I hope it will be the type of games were the quota gets bigger after completion. Idk if its doable alone, but yeah, its easily doable at 2.
I think a better suggestion would be having the quota change depending on player amount, so that way solo wizards aren't at such a disadvantage
Or just get a tutuorial or more basic knowledge
The conflict is due to lack of player skill
what if we can set how much with want the quota start at 1000 you can't get less than that and max no max
I understand 100% where you are coming from. I can easily keep playing and attain the skill level required to win and get all the points neccecary. My suggestion stemmed from the fact that normies, and non PC gamers are going to struggle and take wayyyy longer to get better at the game, since they dont play it as often. I really like @frail echo suggestion tho. set the default to what its at currently, and give the player the choice to either make it easier or harder.
its more for accommodations sake. with my actual PC friend group we easily clear the quota by a mile.
Nah, what i meant is like a tutorial and stuff to increase the base skill level, so this stops being an issue
Ah, this makes sense yes. I like this too.
Yeah. Then you keep the challenge, lose the unfairness
A training area where you can have more stuff to test things out would be nice, maybe a library with game mechanics telling you the point system and other stuff so its optional so people who want to skip the tuto can skip it.
Also wish that if you reach quota, you keep the mkney you collected, it kinda suck that it resets it as if you died. Some lobby area to try stuff out or upgrade the hut with the coins we steal could be cool too
It would also be a way to have tutorial without breaking immersion and make it optional for the more experienced yap yap players
It took a few runs to figure out, but my friend and I were able to make quota as a duo somewhat consistently (but not 100% of the time), which I think is a nice sweet spot. When I later played a game with 3 other players (none of whom had ever played the game before) we made quota on night 2 quite easily. If anything quota could probably be higher (although the best approach is probably either difficulty settings, or increasing quotas like Lethal Company)
