It basically calculates how many Math coins are on the field, since the shop is just an intermission between rounds and everything is still in play, the current number reflects how many math coins are currently on the field and multiplies it by 1.03 which is why you do not have a round number

Right so it duplicates by 1.03 each time so the number is accurate
