i think this would just add unnecessary wait time and make the process longer. i’m chronically ill and have to take a lot of meds, and its not unrealistic or unsafe to just take them all at once lol

some medications have interactions but waiting five seconds and taking them separately would not make any real difference. if two medications conflict, you would usually have to take them at least a couple of hours apart. also the doctors check for serious interactions beforehand and wouldn’t prescribe a combination that was unsafe

but the 5 seconds acts as those hours because you cant really wait that much in a game, so if they did conflict they would still get taken apart. I think it would make a little bit of a difference since you know you arent just feeding them and making them take medication back to back, like how maple hospital does it

it just seems like an unnecessary complication to me idk 😠i’ve taken a lot of the medications in the game together and there really aren’t severe interactions. the only one possibly would be zofinex (zofran) and epipen but even that the doctor would likely just monitor the patient closely. and it would just be unrealistic cuz what is 5 seconds gonna do lol

I think it depends on a player. I’ve seen some people here ask for lower rank requirements/discharges, bc they’re tired of grinding, and thus they want faster discharges.
I personally would like to take longer with my patients, now that I have lots of discharges.
Maybe it would be a good idea for personalized settings of sorts, idk?

as a nurse, we actually have patients take all the meds at the same time! We just put them in a cup and they dump it into their mouth and take it! Of course we would monitor to make sure they don’t choke
