- accuracy to real life / realism suggestions
- the process of treating and diagnosing a patient should divide into three sections
- first section
- find or investigate further into each symptom by using the computer in the room to order tests ( adds more uses to the abandoned computer ;-; )
- for example, the color of a patient’s snot ( red = bleeding, black = fungal infection)
- second section
- depending on the symptoms, diagnose them.
- do this by having a big data bank in the computer and have a filter system in the computer to narrow the list of potential conditions down until we find the one.
- third section
- treat the patients symptoms
- do this by also having a big data bank built into the medication station that has a filter system
- in order to make the developer’s job easier, have the syringes and pill bottles model ( or whatever form of medication) made and just give it a random color + name for each medication.
- provide them with medications
- specify the doses and frequency.
- each medication should have a list of symptoms (or one) that they can cure. (yes add overdosing as a way to die)
- extra suggestions ( more content )
- more symptoms and conditions
- Family history / past history
- This can be clues to a diagnosis of HIV, AIDS, HPV, and more.
- checked by asking questions to the patient in a dialogue UI or checking them on the computer.
- difficulty levels
- players can choose a difficulty level ( between nurse or doctor)
- when players start the game, they will be in the nurse difficulty ( easier one )
can be changed into doctor difficulty by passing a series of multiple choice questions
There should be a question back of 50-100 questions (where you can find the answers in the game, facts, or general medical knowledge including microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, physiology, anatomy, and virology. )
- have a cutscene too to add the sense of honor :D
- Yes, this is supposed to be a bit hard as it is designed for people to have a more realistic and harder experience.
- to make the developer’s job easier, there can be two separate versions of the game that will separate the players ( nurse difficulty players stays in original server, people who passed the test before (confirmed with a roblox badge check) will have a pop up asking if they want to join a separate server with others in the doctor difficulty.)

slight suggestion, rather than doctor difficulty being "harder" and nurse being "easier", they should be two different paths, as both doctors and nurses have very different roles in healthcare settings. The doctor's path can focus on diagnostics and advanced procedures. In contrast, the nursing path can offer direct patient care experiences, carrying out orders placed by MDs, and performing nursing skills and procedures. ie, giving medicine, wound care, utilizing standing orders in situations needed. With this, both the doctor path and the nurse path can have their own role progression MS-1 (Medical Student Year 1) -> CMO (Chief Medical Officer) or Medical Director, and Student Nurse -> CNO (Chief Nursing Officer) or Nursing Director. Instead of having an Easy and hard mode as you progress through roles, you are given harder tasks, and more tasks are given if done incorrectly; there is a higher consequence.
This could be like two roles in the game where each role has two different difficulty levels!
Or each role progressively gets harder with experience and carries out different tasks as I outlined, as realistically, as you go higher in the hierarchy, ex, LPN -> RN, your responsibility changes a lot, same as a PGY-1 Resident to PGY-2 Resident, the higher up you start to go, the bigger responsibilities and more weight is put on your shoulders.
Yess this add another layer of content to the meaning of leveling up than just experience, the deduction of xp for each death also balances out the difficulty
Agreed

For more conditions, add Hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia, hiv, aids, hpv, infectious diseases (as an emergency) and rare conditions
