whenever i open an app or new tab or sometimes just randomly my cpu usage goes to 100% , and suddenly im unable to use the omarchy control menu or any omarchy shortcuts, also i cannot view my gpu details in this control panel type thing
i installed linux (it was a dual boot ) for the first time yesterday and everything was fine , i had no problems with booting or anything and my two screens worked fine and were assigned different
work spaces by default.
everything was a little chopy so i decided to install drivers using this guide https://github.com/korvahannu/arch-nvidia-drivers-installation-guide , ever since then my omarchy shortcuts and all have stopped working and now both my monitor show the same workspace at the same time, the cpu problem has been there since the beginning , as far as i know everything else is working perfectly fine ,
(i dual booted using this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kE0foLfYkfk)
i've only messed with the files that the tutorials and guide told me to mess with , please tell me if i've broken something
i also installed minecraft with prism launcher and the version 1.8.9 didnt work but 1.21.11 somehow did and when i eventually entered a world i got around 20fps , for context i get 120+ on windows and when i hit f3 it didnt show any information in the place where it normally shows the
gpu details (this was before the drivers installation)
my gpu is gt730 gddr5 and i have 8gb ram 2666mhz with i3 10105f (no integrated graphics )processor , can anybody help me fix this
