Can you just reboot? Seems like it succeeded and just didn’t display the fancy logo
do you have nvidia card ? are you installing fresh and erasing everything? seems like you are in a failed install, why not try again
should be built into my laptop but i’m using this tutorial step by step https://youtu.be/kE0foLfYkfk?si=I3OZ0Kk-K057sAG3
Dual Boot Omarchy and windows 11. Install Omarchy alongside windows 11. This NEW video shows you how to install Omarchy on windows 11. Using dual boot you can set up windows 11 and Omarchy on the SAME drive. Dual booting windows 11 and Omarchy helps to use both operating systems at the same time. When you turn on your Pc it will ask you to boot ...
to duel boot
so i have no clue
you already have windows important data? you have 2 disks? you have to share more info or people just will laugh at your mishap
yes I have 2 disks , and there’s not much information to share when I’m unable to "upload install log" , my first disk is my actual disk for windows boot manager , and the second partition was supposed to be for arch
i recommend unplug windows disk completely and install omarchy as normal (fully, on one disk) and then once it fully works, replug windows disk in and use f2 setup at boot to select the preferred efi boot disk
that way you know it will work and the installer wont mess with windows
ugh so i gotta unscrew my laptop
no you could do manual install from arch installer and hope nothing touches your windows stuff
idm being laughed at , i’m
new to this and im really
only investing time into it because windows sucks and i just love
the ui
fair
but to be safe, yea unscrew it!
you might unplug the wrong disk, if they are identical etc... something to consider
same issue 🥲
After retrying showing me this😶
that is a different situation. i think you used root user
Same issue
And i tried all possible combinations
There is a problem in this version i think
I did the same exact steps before on the same machine and it work out fine
Now i formatted the disk and tried again and it won’t work
I js gave up and continued to use shit windows for my daily tasks
I think the problem is with dual boot not installer i am considering wipe all disk and install omarchy only instead of windows
`tte is the abbreviation for Terminal Text Effects.
It is a tool written in Python that displays animated text and visual effects directly in the terminal.
In Omarchy, it is widely used to:
display animated logos
show welcome screens
add “wow” effects when starting scripts`
Ese error significa que no está tte instalado o se actualizo python, es decir el comando tte no se puede ejecutar, este script está mal escrito
And since this is in the installer we couldn’t do anything to either change or ignore the library. So what can be the solution ?
When the installation is complete, can you start Arch Linux?
I think that bash script just draws an animation to reboot with the new system
Nah Theres no boot entry only efi fallback
I think that script only draws an animation when the installation finishes; I don't think that's the problem.

EFI backup alone must be a separate problem; if boot entries aren't being created, the problem lies in another installation process.
I am having same issue
Okay so if the problem isn’t with that script what could it be ?
Tte or not how can i locate the exact step installation has failed , after i rebooted i still went to same problem . Arch is indtalled cause after i configured it and hsed archinstaller i could login as my arch user and run the curl bash so i guess those step are done correctly. The only thing i did after is to curl bash install omarchy
@ornate peak
as of what i can see in the log. It says "ERROR: mkinitcpio failed for kernel 6.18.5-arch-1, skipping."
final animation iso 3.3.2
Check the kernel version XD
After running curl https://omar etc, cancel it and I think you'll have everything cloned.
modify the post-install/finishe.sh script
and run install.sh again, I don't remember if that's how it was
I would have to try cloning the repository, I don't really know, or wait for the developer to fix it.
I got the same error as OP and after selecting the retry installation, the error changes to this. Then when I chose exit and up arrow, nothing showed but I still pressed enter and it brought me to the initial installing screen but with the text misaligned just like Pratik's photo. How do I go about this? The version I installed is the 3.3.2 through the website and flashed in on my usb as an iso through belenaEtcher.
