Having the same problem

Run the following command to check if your Broadcom firmware and driver are loaded properly: dmesg | tail -n 50 | grep brcm

In my case I get a -5 error and apparently my binary files for 4377b3 can’t be read correctly

Same issue here. -5 error. Got there by other posts but no proposed solution fixed it.

echo "blacklist hci_bcm4377" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-bcm4377.conf

this solved it for me

#

However then bluetooth doesnt work

#

I find it possible to remove the blacklisting to get the bluetooth to work but isnt 100% a solution and it needs to be redone on each reboot

#

But dont listen to me omarchy is my first time touching linux outside of school projects

Weird question but did you install Omarchy when you had an old version of macOS? Perhaps the firmware wasn’t supported by Omarchy?

echo "blacklist hci_bcm4377" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-bcm4377.conf

did not solve anything unfortunately. I think I installed it with macos 16

I’m on a macbook air 2020 with a BCM4377b network card. Fresh installed omarchy wiping out everything on the laptop. No ethernet, no external wifi antenna. Tried bluetooth tethering but it seems I lack drivers to do so.

I’m gonna give this method a try
