I was trying to make a custom installation of omarchy on my setup. I picked up an archinstall a grub, but I was thinking that it should be worked, but in the end I get an error during the installation that my efi partition is too small. So is there any way to install omarchy when I have smaller EFI, i have something like 421mb, so I guessed that it is about that the limine theme or something can't install.

No, I just resized partition. But I'm still curious is there any way to solve it

limine needs 2gb

#

so make EFI >2Gbs

#

as it's using UKI to store your kernel images

Hello guys I would like to know where did y’all resized it ? By the omarchy kernel or another one ?

omarchy script on the ISO makes it 2 gb

Ok and where do I change it ?

#

I was doing a dual booting with windows and I don’t know if I should make it into the omarchy terminal or the windows or it doesn’t matter

in arch iso as for manual installation that is what you need to use

#

omarchy ISO is for all disk

then you don't need to create nothing manually, just select the disk in the omarchy install after name, password...etc

fast start-up in windows is disabled?

#

To disable fast startup, go to Control Panel, then Power Options, click "Choose what the power buttons do," and then click "Change settings that are currently unavailable". Finally, uncheck the box next to "Turn on fast startup" and click Save changes. Open Power Options: Search for "Power & sleep settings" or "Control Panel" in the Windows search bar and open it. You can also press Windows Key + R, type powercfg.cpl, and press Enter. Navigate to shutdown settings: Click on "Choose what the power buttons do" on the left-hand side of the window. Change unavailable settings: If the "Turn on fast startup" option is grayed out, click "Change settings that are currently unavailable" at the top of the window. You may need to confirm with an administrator prompt. Disable fast startup: Uncheck the box next to "Turn on fast startup (recommended)". Save your changes: Click the "Save changes" button to apply the setting.
