#ISO install fails after formatting /dev/sda

It can't communicate with the kernel when it's trying to create a partition over one that is already in use.

I have Windows 11 on a Lenovo, and downloaded the iso from omarchy.org on Oct. 8, 2025.

Thank you for replying. Yes that was the problem I actually needed two discs just like the instructions said but seems subtle and I ignored it but I fixed it now and it works.

I used a WSL app that can talk to USB devices and then I used Ubuntu 2404. From there I did a mkfs ext4. And the hard part for me was that both of my discs were from SanDisk
