Is anyone knowledgeable about what Omarchy functions use ripgrep (rg) in the background? I will randomly check btop and find that it's taking an absurd amount of CPU. I have never manually used rg.
Screenshot attached is only at 42% but it has gotten as high as 60%.

check with pacman -Qi ripgrep who is requiring it. ripgrep does not come with Omarchy by default, you have to explicitly install it

Yes, on a fresh install it should be installed nowadays. I have an older install where i had to manually install it, sorry for the confusion

all good, I will do pacman and see what's going on with it in a bit. Right now trying to fix ACPI issue that's causing my touchpad, speakers, fans to not work
