A Race to the Cake between players!
A game mode where a server full of players race each other to the end. First player to reach the cake (or Jeffy) wins. There could be a scoreboard system for tournaments, level select where players can vote on the levels they want to run, and a stat tracker for how many wins a player has, best times, or how many races they've participated in.
Somethings will need to be tweaked to make the multiplayer experience run a little smoother:
- Implementing a countdown timer for the race to begin instead of relying on the Restart button.
- Disabling the magnet to prevent trolling and boosting.
- Disabling group quick restart.
- Adding set checkpoint areas so if a player falls into the trash, they don't have to start from the very beginning. Maybe just from where they fell out at.
- After the 3rd place player (or maybe half of the total number of players on the server) finishes, a 1 minute DNF time starts. Any players that don't finish after the 1 minute timer ends, automatically counts as "Did not finish" to keep the games short and sweet.
- Adding a Ready Up system. After more than half the players are ready, the game will auto restart to the beginning where the countdown timer will start.
