Usually I get to Discord quicker but I was filming this weekend so I was pretty wiped out when I got back

@crude turtle I think you've got a mod conflict here. I just tested Neoforge 1.21 and items stacked just fine in survival mode

I threw a whole stack of food mix, cheese, and sliced cucumber on the ground individually and when I picked them up they stacked together just fine

Yes this one is confirmed to be a mod conflict, because I cannot replicate it in my test environment

And if you're having trouble feeding hamsters, it could be #1464372934649843762

I dont have the iris geco lib compat mod. I checked. I do have gecolib

@thin thunder So the food stacking is not a bug. It's a mod conflict. One of the mods that you have installed is causing the issue

But the inability for hamsters to eat sliced cucumbers is a bug in my mod, and I'll fix that in an upcoming patch

Thanks. So I just remove the mod, launch the server, check if the food stacks, rinse and repeat until I find the mod.That's causing the problem.

I have conducted a rigorous test with only the following mods installed:

fzzy_config-0.7.6+1.21+neoforge
geckolib-neoforge-1.21.1-4.8.4
kotlinforforge-5.11.0-all
Patchouli-1.21.1-93-NEOFORGE
Game version: 1.21.1-NeoForge_21.1.228
All of these are the latest available versions for now.
Unfortunately, the item stacking issue still persists after the test.

Since Discord only allows a maximum file size of 10 MB, and my recorded video is still 30 MB even after compression, I’ve uploaded it to an external file host instead.

turns out I was testing it a little bit differently than you were

as soon as I tried doing what you were doing in the video I ran into the same issue

Here's a video showing you how I had tested it before. Surprisingly, when you hold down Q to drop multiple items from a stack, they restack just fine. But if you do it from inside the inventory GUI, they don't re-stack. super weird

Thank you for your help here! I will make sure to include a fix for this in an upcoming patch
