Like there's a delay from when the cutscene starts and when you can start holding down the skip button?
Also a minor bug I've noticed is that if you pause then the dude at the starting area will restart his animation walking over to lean on the rock
yea exactly, happens a lot to me, ideally it should be "just hold the key while falling and the cutscene skipping triggers"
same thing when you press New Game and wait for the Loading...
The game probably starts a loop that looks for a button press down once the cutscene is fully loaded so it doesn't register what was already held down
if they don't fix this cutscene bullshit i'm not commiting to speedrunning this game this is awful
yeah it's waiting for a new input when the cutscene starts, i can see if there's a way to make it more consistent, but sometimes you'll have been holding to grab something when the cutscene triggers and we don't want it to accidentally skip if you aren't trying to
also if you can expand on the remapping keyboard being buggy i would appreciate it!
Oh and the graphics also get reset sometimes when starting the game
