they are fighters at the end of the day and he’s right, they should balance the armour abit. Although there are characters with a decent range of armour break attacks like marks and omni mans.
No. If they nerf armor those characters will be useless. They need it to be able to contest the characters with movement and air dashes. try to use your boosted specials that are supposed to break armor
I think all moves still need more recovery to be easily punishable on whiff/block. We have assists to cover these unsafe moves.
Sounds like you just want the devs to hand you easy wins instead of actually trying to learn any sort of counter play. Maybe some moves in this game deserve more recovery but saying all moves need it is ridiculous
The game's fastest move is only 9 frames. That makes it harder to punish things compared to most games.
Why does it have to be like every other game? Maybe the devs want you to actually use the system mechanics instead of jabbing your way out of everything. Everyone complains about eve drill but I saw tweedy punish it yesterday with heroic strike
Even that's bad because you're spending 1.5 meters to counter 1 meter.
I just want gameplay that doesnt reward constant mashing and throwing out invul/armored moves
Armor specials should be punishable all round the board. I also believe armored specials shouldn't let you cover them with an assist. As the game is currently there's only three outs to Armor and that's boosted specials, supers, and grabs. That extra protection should come with a price.

Only problem with that is battle beast armour for example boosted also breaks armour and it way faster than said armour breaking moves, bro can just block pressure wait for you to press something and then armour
