At least providing the players options for what info or how much info is displayed on the player card would be a nice quality of life feature.
That may not be the main reason why someone might decline u π
Its level, name, total wins & league points what else do u want to reduce on that card when matched?
I mean having the ability to toggle what info is displayed. So the things you mentioned could have a toggle for being "on" or "off".
Outside of those options I guess there could be an options added to choose from. Maybe display total matches played, win percentage, character most used, character least used, etc...
Also maybe having a distinction between casual and ranked mode data since the wins seem to be a combination of all matches won across both modes.
I think Granblue has similar options to what I mentioned.
and as i get better at it they fear me more and more
what else would it be
i have 115 winns
i'm a victim of my own success
Are ur matches mostly in red or green?
why would u want "least used" to appear on ur card??? [forgive me if u were uaing as an example but... no least used]...
Plus if folks see most used they will know ur team mash up, used which somehow loses an advantage and most/some folks may decline more if they see Conquest or BB on that most used used...
Showing Win percent ("rate") is not a good idea I'm sure folks rather not be reminded how but they have high losing streak that is calculated if they see 20% win... we don't need that here no offence it will kill the fantasy of "KO me while I'm down, I will get raise conquer the next... "
Plus I'm have seen some streamers decline on their streams declining red or anything that isn't Green connection matches which okay thats a preference but I get it.
I fight on range of 212ms to 345 pings that's a choice the lag will be painful but I still want to fight... Would I decline if see the pings display before accepting a match... Yes. I might accept a matches above 280pings depending on my mode on that time or day
But I get u need logic. Something that makes clear sense of the declines, the waiting to destory a worm... The logical choice is ur success, the ur total wins... That's the choice you decided blame on
Can I ask when see ur opponent appear do u really look at their total wins or do u look at like the other stuff like name and trying to look at that background seeing it for the first time... Plus I really don't see anyone total wins
I personally place more value on connection over how many wins someone has. Nothing bothers me more than an unstable match experience.
But I've also experienced people declining me based on my experience (high profile level) and wins (typically my opponent having a lot less overall wins than me).
I think that having options for players to personalize how their experience with the game is displayed to others could be a good thing.
@wise sand
Tekken does this. Only thing you see for MM is their connection quality, type (wifi/wired), and disconnect %. No name, no wins, etc...
So going in blindππ... I can get behind that
Did u talk to them? The declines?
Why would I talk to them?
I'm just trying to play the game.
Why put worth extra effort to contact someone that didn't want to play a match in the first place?
If they decline I just stay in the queue and wait to match with someone with a green connection.
If I'm looking to play and don't have luck in Ranked or Casual I use the LFG channel on this server to find someone.
if someone is declining you because of wins then you don't want to be playing them anyway
but honestly its weird because the longer the game is out, no matter how bad you are, your wins are going to start stacking up
fr every time i match with someone with a ton of wins i play them to see what i can do differently and get better
wait what is red or green mean
It took u half an hourππββοΈπ§ but yeah ur awesome
