I’m a motion-control player and right now matchmaking against standard-control players feels heavily imbalanced. It often feels like motion users are missing tools or consistency that standard players have access to.
I really enjoy the game itself, but the current mixed-control matchmaking makes online frustrating for motion players.
We really need an online filter so motion players play with other motion players and vice versa

I don't think filters are useful, that would increase the game matchmaking queue, and even Street Fighter doesn't do that. They can improve motion inputs buffer and the macros/combinations of the control, more % of damage too. There's even a player I saw on Twitter who is currently in the top 17 in rank and plays with motion inputs. I find the standard controller very boring.

Standard controls are horrible. Idk it’s even in the game. But it’s also very op against motion. On motion you don’t even get half of the mechanics compared to standard

Filters are kind of stupid because they just segregate the user base and increase matchmaking queue... While some improvements must be implemented on the motion controls(like improve buffering), you gotta understand that this game was made with standard in mind... motion is just an alternate option (mostly for stick players)... its like playing SSB with motion controls and wanting that both perform equally... that won't happen... understand that every choice is a renunciation, and you chose to play motion, now learn to deal with its drawbacks...

There is now diagonal direction on Dpad so you cannot do the downforward or down back motions. You can’t do specials on motion controls. Believe me I’ve tested this a lot

If you aint willing to take losses to learn on how to not take some in the future so that you can learn? Not to mention that being on standard means you get a heavy damage debuff? Because the devs want to reward skill and pressure? Rn if I was you, instead of asking for this. Ask for a refund because the way you see fighting games is so baffling that its like going in a Burger King getting the burger that you ordered. But you are mad they serve you a sesame seed bun when u want a brioche. It dont make no sense.
