I have only about 2 hours in the game, so this could just be early game difficulty.

I could be alone in this, and honestly historical have never been a fan of explosion type enemies but normal difficulty has way too many explosion enemies, to the point where I get surrounded by self bombers and grenades and die instantly when doing quest/side quest.

I would understand more if this was in hard mode. Though maybe the problem is more so readability as I have a hard time hearing the war cries of the self bomber and find it difficult to located the source of explosion in mid combat, and end up moving around more like a headless chicken, and trying to running from grenades and end up running into self bombers.

Edit to clarify something after rereading 1 last time: It's more so that It feels like I'm being punished for playing both slow, and fast paced. If I'm slow, then grenades are hitting me left and right, and when fast I feel like I'm more often running into bombers.

For some idea's so I'm not just complaining:

-Toning down the Self Bombers and introduce a "brute" variant of the Skeleton.
-Reduce damage and radius of explosions by 5-10% (though the problem is more so the amount then difficulty because they aren't hard to kill)
-Honestly an Indicator that an enemy is behind you or about to attack could help as it's hard to hear them do their war cry when crowded, or when quest/ side quest noise is happening. though again that could be on me as I do have a habit of listening to my own music/ having background audio playing.

Get more mobility.

I did, and it feels like better, but doesn't really solve the issue, i still feel like I'm running into Bombers more often then avoiding them when doing objectives.

also In a game about choices it's kinda against the point if you feel obligated to pick options to avoid situations, no? because then it's not a choice, it's play this way to avoid an annoying mechanic or be frustrated, and not want to play.

Mobility is just the easy solve. You can run a build with no mobility upgrades and be just fine with better decisions
