They are very difficult to see in most terrain, especially with hordes of enemies, allies, and visual effects from attacks, weapons and spells on screen. They would benefit greatly from some kind of feature that keeps them highly visible

Their audio cue is drowned out by the sounds of combat, especially if gunners or bombers are involved. If the audio cue is intended to be helpful for spotting them, it probably either needs to be louder or other things quieter.

Their grab seems to take priority over some spells in a way that feels overly frustrating. I have had my Swap cancelled mid animation by snake grabs or had snakes in the area its effect of the explosion grab me instead of taking damage from the spell. Similarly I have landed on or very near a snake with Thunderstrike only for its grab to cancel the spell without dealing damage. All of these scenarios still put the spell on cooldown and are a real bummer in the moment.

There are too many of them, exacerbated by the previous points. In very hard and above, being grabbed by snakes is often more of a tax in hordes than something you have the power to reasonably deal with. You will not see or hear them. They will grab you. If there are deadeyes up, you will be shot. Period. If they came in lower numbers and without the previous pain points I mentioned, this wouldn't feel so bad. As it stands now, I think it's a noticeable issue for game pacing, flow, and frustration.
Thank you very much to anybody who takes the time to read this. This game is wonderful, and I hope the devs are proud of the work they have done and continue to do with it. Overall, I'm having a blast!
