#Rolling Nukes from the "Wishing Well" in Solo Play

if you're a new player a nuke is likely not a match wipe.
its risk reward.
- You die first time from a surprise nuke from the well.
- You keep your distance from every well and never die from it again.
my first two wells were nukes.. and i thought theres always nukes from them or like a big chance so i kept ignoring them.... but from some videos on youtube i've discovered that im just being unlucky </3
well... now I will try to use them more often.. maybe
Literally just walk away from the wells when you use them, it's that easy.
while it is funny, it would probably be better if there was some level of oneshot protection, as nukes are able to deal large amounts of damage on the highest difficulties.
I also completely disagree with removing them, the chaos mechanic should be chaotic.
i just spent 1+ hour trying to solo very hard. its incredibly frustraiting that my run ended cause a nuke poped out of a well and instant killed me at full health. map was mostly cleared and had just the boss left. no other nuke ive set off has done 100+ dmg
can’t you move away in time?
i always sprint the other direction as soon as im done holding e on a well
Game is meant to be played in coop. Rolling the nuke can be expected. Nuke OS on Very hard and above.
Highly recommend Second Wind if you're playing solo. (It's a death cheat that has 3m cooldown IIRC).
i actually did try to run. i jumped, dashed, then boinged to maximize speed. was surprised by the wild range eeing as i had -75% gravity
Use well => mount => Get away.
i will say solo in this game is especially punishing for mistakes, ror2 and other rogues have one shot protection, drg has bosco, hd2 has 5 respawns, payday has bots, etc, but this game has nothing
so try not to feel too bad about solo
DRG has iron will. Second wind is Iron will but more OP.
It's still EA, so maybe we can expect a bosco like for solo later on.
that too, and the benefit that pretty much 90% of perks suck so you’re almost always iw+dash or iw+field medic
whereas second wind takes up slots that’re pretty critical for a lot of builds/power, so big opportunity cost
Skill issue
