Some things the game does not explain to you that are worth keeping note
-the two elements are water and fire
-Water weakens enemies, fire weakens you
-Take a machine gun if you're doing paper
-Shoot sprinklers to put out fires and weaken paper
-everything has 3 tiers, you DO NOT start with "normal" you start with "Weakened"
-Water weakens enemies, fire weakens you

I’m curious, have you found any of the area specific materials? Do I need to be on a higher difficulty than normal for those to appear?

so far what i found was just some glowy dust piles
those were the samples
they are scattered on maps, each player can carry 3 of them i think
but i havent found more than 2 so far
