Hi everyone,

I’m a student from Egypt studying at the Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology – 6th of October City.

I’m trying to apply for the Kiro Students Program using my official university email address, but the verification page keeps getting stuck on a black loading screen after clicking “Sign up and verify”.

I already tried different browsers, devices, and networks, but the issue still persists.

Could a moderator or Kiro team member please help me complete the verification process manually?

I can provide:

  • University student ID
  • Official university email
  • Enrollment proof
  • Academic portal screenshots

did you check if Egypt schools are acecpted in the student program?

I could not find any information saying that Egyptian universities are not accepted

I wanted to try using my official university email and contact support directly regarding the verification issue

Must be a student currently enrolled at California State University – Fullerton, University of Waterloo, New York University, Georgia Institute of Tech, Carnegie Mellon University, Arizona State University, California Polytechnic State University, University of Chicago, University of Texas – Austin, or University of Toronto (“Participating Universities”). Valid student email required for verification.

that's one of the reasons I'm in general against student programs, personally - when tech companies make student discounts, they go to rich students anyways
