If you want really great designs you should absolutely use the v0 MCP server. Out of the box Kara designs are mid but if you use v0 its an upgrade. Figma has an MCP server as well but I haven't tried it.

The secret: before you have Kiro use v0 is to tell Kiro to write the prompt and description that it will use in v0. Give Kiro the starting point like

We are going to use v0 MCP that you have installed. I want to build [whatever u want here] Go into spec mode, ask me lots of questions, and then write me the spec file. Then after, write a great prompt that you will send to v0 before you use the MCP and show me. After I approve you can use the v0 MCP.

If you don't want to use the MCP, you can just have Kiro create the v0 prompt for you, let v0 bang away, and then download the export from v0 and drop it into your project and tell Kiro to integrate into your stack/project.

In my case, the example below (my billiards coaching site), its running the Astro stack (better for SEO). So I downloaded whatever v0 built, and then had Kiro re-code it into my Astro stack and I pushed to Vercel via Github.

Whole process of re-doing my site, including importing my blog posts, took about 1 hour, maybe 15 mins of work from me.

Great stuff! Try generating it with Claude alone, they've made some updates. I generated the latest version of https://politicpublic.com 's landing page with a single prompt, no MCP's nor skills nor Powers and it looks very similar to yours.
