I kept getting this error when I tried to add new subscription to users:

Failed to create Kiro subscription for 1 user
An error occurred while trying to create Kiro subscriptions.”

And the Cloudtrail log show:
CreateAssignment Account does not meet requirements for this operation

Any idea to fix it?

It has been raised for a couple of week, and seem no one taking care about this issue and so far no explaination at all from kiro team. I have a valid start up credit and can not be used till now.

@remote cedar I created an AWS ticket and they have already supported me. This issue was handled by AWS after 4 days (including the weekend).
Let me know if you need any help.

@remote cedar echo that sentiment. Same boat as you. @inner reef can you drop some more helpful hints? I think you're the only person who has resolved it (and in a very short period of time)

@zinc imp @remote cedar
nothing special.

I’ve just created a ticket in the AWS Support channel.
https://aws.amazon.com/contact-us/
First, I started a chat support session and described my case (ticket type: Account issue / Account support). They couldn’t handle it at first because it wasn’t related to Account or Billing. You need to make sure your account is valid and your billing is active first.

Then they asked me to wait because they needed to contact the Kiro support team.

I also created another ticket directly with the Kiro support team at:
https://support.aws.amazon.com/#/contacts/kiro

After two days (including the weekend), I followed up again, and another guy joined to assist me.

They asked for the following information:
• Identity Center Instance ID
• Identity Center Instance type (shared organization instance or private instance)
• Account type (member account or organization management account)
• Region (Identity Center Instance region)

They also asked me to try some solutions while waiting for their response (but I had already tried them before).

In the meantime, you can review the documentation below, which I believe you’ll find helpful:
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/amazonq/latest/qdeveloper-ug/q-admin-setup-subscribe-troubleshooting.html
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/amazonq/latest/qdeveloper-ug/q-admin-setup-subscribe-general.html
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/amazonq/latest/qdeveloper-ug/upgrade-to-pro.html

That's all for me.
