Do we have 100% ownership of code/projects created using Kiro IDE during free hackathon access? Can we commercialize as SaaS without any ownership claims in future?

Context: I understand Anthropic assigns rights to model output to users, but since we are using Anthropic via Kiro IDE, need confirmation on Kiro's position regarding commercial rights and future claims.

Hey, I posted this on the other thread. Make sure you understand that you have to post the code in an open-source license to do the hackathon, so technically anyone could use and modify your code - #code-with-kiro-hackathon message

Hey, thanks for the reply! So I believe if I am able to finish the app before the deadline and publish it as open source OR if I am not able to finish the app and choose to not share the code at all and continue developing it after deadline in private, in both case I am allowed to create a commercial SaaS from it.

Its just that, in the first case anyone will be able to create a SaaS from it and in second case only I can.

It is a very big application and I got the access this week ( and I have a full-time and a part-time job 😅 ) so I am not sure if I will be able to finish it in time.

It is a multi-step app so maybe I can finish 1/5 of the app and submit it for the hackathon as open source and use it in my rest 4/5 private app. Just don't want any ownership issue later on for the first 1/5th part of my app.

Just use some kind of licence with it when you open source it.
