For the most part. If you look on the right it has a bit of a shadow attached which I guess is what "pushes" it from the wall. But honestly I like it, adds more nuance to the room you made which looks good!

When you use the scythe your character moves forward 1 whole pixel, but the game doesnt re-run loading zone triggers with that pixel move

so if you do that near a map border, you can skip the loading zone and go out of bounds

as far as the game's concerned you didnt walk into it
