I feel like they are, but I'm not saying that with any certainty. I definitely have more trouble with squids and lava eels than I do any of the legendary fish. Anecdotally I've seen people say the winter legendary is the hardest but that's not my experience

How to get the Prismatic Jelly

In order to find a prismatic slime, you must search for one in the mines to kill in order to obtain prismatic jelly. The most recommended method would be to use the elevator between floors 0 & 5 (or any other preferred floor, 5 is just easiest) to reset the mines until it spawns. It's recommended to go on a good luck day, since the spawn rate for a prismatic slime is affected by daily luck.

But for the lava eels tho you only need to catch one then you can make the bait. Then use the bait to get more lava eels. You can make the bar longer if you level up fishing and use a good rod.

As long as you have the quest active, every slime has a chance to turn into a Prismatic Slime. So resetting the day and farming a Slime Floor is indeed the best way to grind the order.
