Fishing makes it easier- Recycling Machines produce Refined Quartz from Glasses and Discs, always, and Iron Bars can also just be Transmuted to gold with high enough Mining (produces a small profit to do so too iirc).

that sucks, training rod makes it so you only can hook easy fish. you still get fishing xp. i would say use to levelfour fishing and then switch to the fiberglass rod and use deluxe fishing bait. at fishing level 6 buy the iridium rod and put the barbed hook or cork bobber on as the tackle

i don't really use total earnings as a gauge, i like going there in y1 spring/summer

yea ive been there for quite some time spent most time of fall (day 11) getting the dusk sprites for more coal and the ring so i can farm more of it in the future and was planning to go tehre in like spring year 2 but im lowk pretty much done with the start i got good income good funds rn (120k in 2days)

the burglars ring is good not just for farming coal but all monster drops especially in a place you aren't to far from

my spring normally plays like this
day 2-4 fish. day 5 mines to floor 10 and get 45 copper ore. upgrade bag and copper pick. day 6 to day 12 fish. day 13 plant 100 strawberry seeds. day 14 to day 26 water and go mining every day. day 27 and day 28 set up farm for summer

you can water, drop off your watering can -> rain -> pick up your watering can
check tv for weather report

upgrade pick when you wont be mining for a few days. upgrade axe when mining/fishing for a few days. check the weather if it says rain the next day upgrade watering can.

upgrade how when not planting new crops or extending the crop field.
