Once a crop is already planted, you cannot add fertilizer to that tile. If you try, the game simply won’t allow it. You’ll have to wait until you harvest

Hiii, the training rod is the only rod that limits quality fish. Fish quality depends on your fishing level, distance from land, and achieving a "Perfect" catch rather than the rod type

That's a pretty typical first playthrough it sounds like.
Perhaps increase mining time, instead of only lucky days.

Upgrading your Pickaxe/Axe is very worth it.
If you want money, fishing is good early on (Definitely buy a fiberglass rod when you hit level 2 so you can use bait)
Basic Sprinklers or a Watering Can upgrade will help with energy/time problems early game.
