this is a 1.3 guide so it's outdated but the idea is broadly there. Load up on a +hp food (I use gold star cheese because it's easy to hoard) and a +speed food (spicy eel is the best, but the very easy one to get a lot of is pepper poppers)

buy regular bombs, craft mega bombs, use staircase for bad levels, go during a high luck day, drink coffee and eat your +speed food
