Sigh's Basic Guide to Escape Poverty in 60 Days
Basics. There are active and passive things you can do. Ideally, your active activities will lay the foundation for your passive ones, so that your passive ones give you gold. Your two big active ones are going to be fishing or mining, which you will do most days except for replanting days.
Step 1: Sprinklers. Sprinklers are your basic way to gain passive income. You will make them by going to the mines to mine copper/iron or iron/gold/quarts. Copper is floor 20->21->mine->reset, Iron is the same for floor 40, gold is floor 80.
Step 2: Fishing. Fishing is the easiest way to make money. If you need to use the training pole to get your catch rate up, go ahead and do so. You want to spend a couple days fishing to unlock at least Fisher for +25% sell price. The mountain lake is a reasonable, relatively easy location to fish in all seasons.
Step 3: Crops. Once you have sprinklers to water crops you want to use your gold from fishing to buy crops. Spring: Cauliflower. Summer: Days 1-3 blueberries, days 4-16 melons. Fall: Days 1-6 Cranberries, 7-15 Pumpkins. Winter - Don't bother
Step 4: Artisan goods. Your crops will sell for much more if processed. Once you have a good crop in the ground you should start investing into machines to process your goods. Ideally sell your first batch or two to pay for the machines to process later batches. Preserve Jars are made from wood, stone, and coal and are your best early option. Each one is able to handle 9 crops per season, so I suggest 20-40 for a good starting amount.
Step 5: Future investments. Continuously expanding your empire of crops and machines is your way to an easy end game. Eventually you would produce so many blueberries and cranberries that it is better to produce melons and pumpkins so that you can actually process all of them. Keep continuously reinvesting your profits into more jars/crop production until you have plenty of dough. It is a common preference to swap to kegs in the mid to late game, so once you have stable profits established you should start making tappers and prepare an oak resin farm in Cindersnap.

Bombs, food buffs, spicy eel ||can trade ruby for them at the desert trader, one ruby = one spicy eel|| for speed and luck, (check tv for daily luck and go on a good luck or very good luck day) to help find ||holes and ladders easier and quicker. galaxy sword, to obtain go in the middle of the three pillars in the desert and hold a prismatic shard|| is great if you have a prismatic shard, also spicy eel + coffee cause speed stacks, stairs, use Crystalariums to duplicate jades to ||trade with desert trader on Sundays for staircases, one jade equals one stair case||, Salads are also a cheap healing food and are always available at the saloon, cheese is also great for healing.

Yeah, and the seeds are expensive.. You can do pumpkins as well! I always recommend pumpkin with basic fertilizer since fertilizer is basically free to craft with 2 sap.. Unfortunately fertilizer on berry crops only have half the impact of the fertilizer value because it only affects the first berry picked.. Both are still good options for money, pumpkin is just what I recommend for highest $

im still on my first playthrough, but so far ive mostly dumped stuff like pomegranate into the preserve jars and sold off most my other crops raw. i do hops in kegs. the money is pretty good, but sometimes i wonder if kegs and jars are really as good as they are hyped
