If you let a crop die at season change it will leave behind dead wilted crops, Which preserves hoed spots and prevents debris.

So you can buy a cheap seed to plant and let die (like Parsnips during Spring -> Summer)

Crops that naturally stick around and regrow, like Blueberries are also good for this.

If you do the price difference on eggs and mayo, you will always make money by turning a chicken egg into mayo. The ROI is smaller for irridium, but if you make as many mayo machines as you have chickens you start making bank pretty immediately.

I actually recently tested it, doing nothing but planting crops and chopping trees(selling sap) and generally going to bed by 4pm, I was able to afford 70 strawberries that will produce 140 strawberries, selling for a minimum total of 16,800 gold by the end of spring. I think more because I will have tiller and likely will artisan them somehow

in summer starfruit if you have it, blueberries for bulk artisan or raw, melons for limited artisan
fall cranberries/pumpkins similar to blueberries/melons

For the community center you need 5 gold parsnips, and 1 quality agnostic parsnip, potato, green bean, and cauliflower. If you don't do it now you'll be waiting until next spring

Not everything in the game has to be super impactful and useful, some things are more niche. Spa isn't super good, but some people like it and it fits into their playstyle

The thing is that rn neither is reigning uncontested. Af vs Sf is a matter of personal preference, cause they're both very strong, depending on how much effort you wanna put into farming
