Have u completed the community bundle? If not u could try to fish for a while. Once u have 1500 gold u can upgrade and get a better rod and attach bait on to it which will help drastically!

So u could fish and level up on your fishing skill if you wanted to, and potentially go into the mines so u can upgrade all your tools to copper. Looking for geodes and cracking them open at Clints can help you find new minerals to give to gunter. Who (when you give around 50 items to) will give u the key that unlocks the sewers that unlocks krobus but thats more just a side thing!

same, but there's a couple "deep" spots on the docks, you can reach from the docks

ofc! There are maps for everywhere at [[Fishing_Strategy#Fishing_Zones]] if you wanna get technical, but it's also not too hard to determine the furthest point from shore once you know that's how it works

when playing in coop/multiplayer do your tools immediately get upgraded to the host's level or do you need to get the required materials and gold for each upgrade
