It depends on what you are trying to fish up. You get different fish from the river than you would from the ocean. I'm only on year two so i don't know much. It just depends on the value of the fish you get from the river near the mine.

Instead of a kitchen, it would be really useful to get chickens, then cows, then ducks. They get you a lot of money, especially during winter wen you cant have crops. It'd be nice to expand your farm, because you get more money from your crops than it took to buy the seeds. Literally profits growing in the ground. Also pay attention to when the season ends and how long it takes for your crops to grow. You lose a lot of money if your crops die over seasons.
