Oak trees are highly recommended to start up so you can put tappers on them to begin collecting oak resin. Otherwise some pine and maple trees are good too to tap.

Profitwise? Not a whole lot, winter seeds are a source of farming exp and a small amount of foraging exp. You could turn them into || Tea saplings if you've done caroline's 2 heart cutscene || Otherwise I'd say powder melon for very little profit and fiber seeds to build up fiber for crafting. My suggest would be to use the season for fishing, tool upgrades, changing the layout of your farm and hitting the mines for resources otherwise.

if you have grass planted nearby there is like an 80% chance they will forage if you open your coop door. otherwise you'll need to place hay in their feeder.

They eat both hay you can put into the feed tray in the coop or if you let them outside, they'll eat the tall grass. However during rain and winter they'll need to eat hay inside.

The Forest Farm is also good, allowing new players to get Forageables and hardwood

In a fish pond would be the best use of them for continous profit off roe. Otherwise tank is okay if you want to look at them. If you do decide to sell them however, make sure you at least smoke them to increase the value first.

Forest is a cool farm, I think I'd dislike the loss of crop space and the layout making me adjust when I was starting out though. The hardwood and forage is a nice plus certainly.

Sure, just a reminder that || Skull caverns || requires a spoiler tag in this chat. Make sure you bring quite a bit of food for healing (Salads and cheese are good options, but forageables can be good too). Stack coffee or triple shot espresso with food for buffs. Luck and movement speed are both great stats so spicy eel and coffee are a good combination. Bombs are good for quickly clearing large amounts of rocks to find the way down rather than pickaxing each rock. || Using your first prismatic shard on getting the galaxy sword is also good. Luck increases the chances of finding shafts over ladders which will help you move down faster, so prioritizing going on high luck days is good|| Additionally I would save up your Jade - || It can be traded on Sunday at the desert trader for stair cases 1:1. || Those are great for quickly making it down through tough floors that you don't want to spend time on.

Depends, I find puffers dart mostly, sturgeons a little less predictable. Similar difficulty though

Increasing your fishing level as much as possible for the largest bar size, can consider using food with + fishing on top of that for even bigger mini game bar. The trapper bobber is quite good for tough fish once you have the iridium rod for tackle. You can also use deluxe bait which gives another increase to your fishing mini game bar.

After that probably just practicing and learning fish patterns.

You could do a bunch of combinations. 9 iridium chubs would work though. Diamond, higher quality animal products (Gold-Iridium), Gold quality Artisan goods, Iridium quality fish are decent, a gold quality fruit, gold quality vegetable. The tables too big to tell you everything.

buff food, good rings, staircases, explosive ammo if you know how to use it

in early game you can easily farm stone by repeatedly clearing big boulders on floor 1 or floor 5 of the mines

later on there are better ways

Having enough food for healing (Cheese or Salads are decent). Having food buffs mainly for speed is great (coffee and spicy eel) for +2 movement speed. Going on great luck days, using stairs for bypassing tough floors. Bombs for clearing rooms faster than manually mining.

Yeah you hit level 10 farming so you've unlocked it. It's good for quality of life to collect your milk and eggs without having to do it yourself. Now you can just focus on petting your animals with one in each barn/coop. Like mentioned above, unless you're okay with parting with the money, probably have better options.

That's okay. Once you get to the point you feel you're at a point you can slow down from upgrades and doing other things you can start gifting to people on rotation to quickly bring that up. Or you can choose a day of the week to gift everyone. I often make a chest for gifting items

Rabbit foot is a great choice (except for penny). Diamonds are loved or liked by all villagers. Some villagers are easier to remember their loved gifts too to gift on the cheaper side.
