Just started playing and I’m loving stardew valley already. I need to get some topaz for Willy.

You can get the training rod from willy for 25g. It gives you a level 5 fishing bar.
If you get the fiberglass rod you can add deluxe bait which does two things one decrease time between bites and increase the fishing bar size by one. There are some foods that give you fishing buffs which increase the bar size.
The iridium rod you can add the cork bobber for a bigger bar or I think its the barbed hook to make it so fish escape slower.

Yes every animal has a friendship meter. Similar to how npcs do.
Animals only have a max of 5 hearts. The give higher quality stuff and in the rabbits case can drop a rabits foot.
Or you could hope for the traveling merchant to sell one.
Or ||skull cavern and slay Serpents for the rabits foot to drop like that||

Them giving rabits foot is tied to them loving you. Pet them feed them, let them outside. And its not consistent like their wool. It is far more random to get rabits foot from a rabit. You'll get more wool than rabits foot from a rabit

No lol. The tree will continue to grow except in winter. If outdoors it will only produce fruit in the given season. I wouldn't recommend planting orange in summer its better to plant the season b4 the fruit will grow (so better planting apples in summer in preparation for fall)

Only way for tree to "die" is you cutting it down. The tree will also not grow/reach maturity if surrounding tiles are blocked
