they will dig the truffle up outside

you need to let them out and then you can harvest truffles like forage

ive been trying to prioritize profit and having a constant produce flow but i see the CC and i think i should go for that

If you don't want to do that though you can go the joja route which is just paying for upgrades rather than getting the crops/fish/misc for it but it's the less... ethical route I guess

There's things for the CC you need when animals are still young like small eggs/milk so you can def do both

Yeah

It's easy to miss things you need for the CC since they're mostly seasonal crops and fish and what not so unless you have a note of when you need to get things it can easily take more than a year but there's no rush

I've got a colour coded spreadsheet for the CC whenever I do a new game lol
