experienced players can finish it in year 1

if you wanted to give yourself a little more leeway you'd divide by 15 instead, give yourself a whole week of not kegging, bringing up the needed kegs to 900

they will stay, and flooring tiles prevent stuff from spawning on top iirc, so it's good to do if you're planning on doing something like || kegging the desert ||

and || the desert can hold quite a lot of machines, over 1k I think. And there's very little pathing you need to worry about with npcs. It's a great place to put machines if you don't mind de-beautifying the world ||

you can make money doing everything in spring, although in spring y1 I think fishing is the easiest way to make money

imo, fishing and mining early y1 make good money. especially selling duplicate gems you don't need for later

problem with relying on gems to make money is that they're not very consistent, you might make good money one day and crap money the next

fishing is much more consistent

and you need energy to sustain your mining, so you're spending money to make money

fishing provides the energy for you, just eat the least profitable fish

use quality fertilizer before planting, grow at least 30 of the crop, and level up your farming skill. more crops means better chances for gold stars.

crop quality is determined by farming skill and fertilizer.

But it's determined by a distribution, so you could probably get 1 gold star even without anything and no farming level if you grew like 100 of the crop

so you should aim to grow quite a bit of a crop you want gold stars from

it also helps to eat +farming food if you have it before you harvest

Like, Crops go here, Animals go here, Beehives go here, Fishponds, etc.
Then you'll have something more specific to think about.

As long as you're getting the CC done, have sprinklers for your crops, and are working on making machines, you're doing pretty well on what to do for making money long term

Don't limit yourself to just 'Wine empire', while it's pretty much the best money, it could also get boring as you'll get in a loop where the only thing you do is 'get keg, fill keg'

normally you just raise hearts with one of the marriage candidates, once you hit 8 hearts youll be able to buy a bouquet from pierres. give this to an 8 heart marriage candidate and youll start dating them.

once you reach 10 hearts with that person, on a rainy day you can find a guy at the beach who gives you a mermaid's pendant which you can give to a 10 heart villager to ask to marry them.

Well when you get enough hearts with someone you give them a bouquet and they become your gf/bf, and then you get them to ten hearts, have at least one house upgrade, and then give them a mermaid pendant to make them your spouse

also, i am finding it takes like a whole day to only go down a few levels in the mine, (i'm doing the lvl 25 goal) am I supposed to bring a ton of stone and make lots of stairs? or something else?

you don't need staircases at all for the mines

you just go around breaking rocks and kiling enemies for ladders to appear

those are the main methods for having ladders generating

once you unlock the greenhouse youll be able to grow it in there with no worries in the world.

or just make sure theres scarecrows and lightning rods on your farm (if you wanna be super safe) and grow it outside. i recommend waiting for spring to do so but as long as you get some harvests in that yeah i guess youll be ok.

no. its a regrowable crop so you can multiharvest it. you take the fruit and put it in a seed maker to make more. youll start growing slowly but over time exponentially.

theres no time limit. you can sleep for 1000 years and everything is relatively the same.

theres progression to the game but obviously youve gotta do things to progress, so thats just yknow, normal
