so uh, no, you're going to have to water for awhile

at least until farming 2 when you can make sprinklers, but I normally skip those sprinklers til the ones at farming 6

the ones at farming 2 only do the 4 cardinal directions, so they're quite inconvenient to use

and my best shot usually gets farming 6 right before summer, and by that time you also need to be at least down to level 80 in the mines for the gold requirement

Lightning rods aren't perfect, since when it strikes it can randomly select a rod that's already charging, and thus will hit a random tile instead

They're not a guarantee, only reduce the chances. Once you have 20 ish the chances are pretty low and you won't really get more batteries than that in a storm so it's like the sweet spot

I don't think so. There is a price catalog where you can see the price of the item which can be helpful. Overall, early in game I just keep everything and organize the chests. It's lowkey hell and takes up a lot of time, but it's very helpful to do so for your future self

• Watch TV daily, tells you about weather and luck which are highly influential as well as useful tips for beginners and cooking recipes
• Forage around town, there are some nice items for you to find.
• Plant and water your parsnips, clear a small area for them. Potatoes are great for money, so are Strawberries from Egg fest on spring 13th.
• Use your scythe to cut fiber (NOT THE GRASS), it can drop mixed seeds for you to plant.
• You will get a fishing rod on day 2, fishing is great for money early on
• Unlock the community center and the mines on day 5, they are huge parts of your game

hm, cutting the grass is indeed a waste of time before you have a silo, unless you need the planting space. But at the beginnning you can't really plant all that much anyway.
