till the ground with the hoe, plant seed in that spot, use watering can to water crop. use axe to chop trees for wood. go around and pick up the flowers and other things you see off the ground. talk to villagers to raise friendship (they can send you stuff in the mail when they are high enough friendship), fishing if you are having problems buy the training rod from willy, get to level 8 fishing buy the iridium rod put deluxe bait and the barbed hook tackle on it. In the mines you go down get better stuff, ores, and gems. fight with the sword. Upgrade your toools to make things take less time to do
