Mushroom cave is more consistent, and decent for energy early game. Also comes with 1 Dehydrator. Gives 6 mushrooms every 2 days.

Bat cave you can forget about for a week without losing anything, and the fruits are good for gifting/CC completion. The fruit also benefits from Foraging perks.
