1. go to mountain lake especially in spring. easy fish here. hardest is the bullhead. but that is still easier then most fish in river and ocean
2. if still having problem get the training rod
3. when have the money and the ability get the iridium rod
4. use deluxe fishing bait on iridium rod, You need level 4 fishing to unlock the crafting recipe. bait and moss. bait is crafting from bug meat. moss is easiest to get from green rain. green rain only happens once a year during the summer
   6, get some tackles. can only equip one tackle on the iridium rod at a time. tackles like cork bobber, trap bobber, and barbed hook. will help in different ways. cork bobber increases size of the fishing bar. barbed hook makes the bar automattically follow fish as long as they aren't moving to fast. trap bobber makes fish escape slower.
