Training for is only for common fish. It’s basically just practice

It’s “easier” to catch fish with it since it only hooks easy commons. If you believe you’re decent enough at fishing there’s no reason to use it

The farm you choose is depending on your playing style. The best to start out with is the standard farm. It’s an easy layout that you’ll be able to understand since you are new. For tips I suggest going at your own pace. Don’t worry about rushing anything. You should save up coins though and plant parsnips and make sure to check the community center to see what you need! It’s good to be able to finish it whenever you can

But when it comes to quests, and other things you don’t have to complete them at the very beginning. You can do what you can whenever. That’s why I enjoy this game. I basically “finished/ accomplished all the advancements” on year 8 my first playthrough some do it way earlier it just depends!

Depends on how deep you want to go. Maybe you can start upgrading sprinklers and equipment to iridium once you have, say, a dozen crystalariums? Depends on you.
Keep in mind that I also try to have a ratio of 75% jade to 25% rubies with my crystalariums early on. ||You can trade rubies for Spicy Eel,|| and that speed boost, stacked with Triple Shot Espresso, allows you to get so much more done during the day, not just in the mines.

As long as the season doesn't change to one they can't grow in (or you're in the greenhouse), crops grow until they are ready to harvest, and they stay in that state until you harvest them

it's most likely a mushroom tree. you can cut it down to get red mushrooms and the seeds to grow more trees

i normally cateogorize my chests like this: one for each season's (one per season) crop and forage, one for fish if not in the fridge to be used in cooking, one for materials such as wood, stone, fiber, ||moss|| and the like, one for mining materials (copper, iron, gold, ect.), one for mine loot (monster drops, gems, unnecessary weapons), one for seeds, and one for the fair (items in grange display) and there's a few more but i'd have to open my game to see them.
